Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the FAT FIT app and website (collectively, “FAT FIT” or the “Service”), operated by Echo Marketing B.V. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using FAT FIT, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What FAT FIT is

FAT FIT is a personal fitness tracking and visualisation tool. It lets you log your weight, set goals, plan meals and workouts, and generate a private “body dial” from a photo you upload.

2. No promise of results

FAT FIT is for tracking and motivation only. We do not promise, guarantee, or imply that you will reach any specific weight, body composition, appearance, fitness level, or health outcome. Any illustration, estimate, or projection shown in the app — including the body dial — is based on the data you enter and is not a prediction of what will happen.

Your actual results depend on many factors outside our control, including your diet, exercise, sleep, genetics, lifestyle, and medical history. Progress takes consistent effort over time, often months or years. Individual outcomes will vary.

3. Not medical advice

FAT FIT does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional fitness advice. The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle, especially if you have an existing health condition, are pregnant, or are under 18 years old.

4. Accounts and security

You must be at least 16 years old to use FAT FIT. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at info@fatfit.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Your photos and content

Photos you upload belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the FAT FIT service — for example, to generate your personal body dial. We store photos in a private bucket and display them only to you through short-lived signed URLs. We do not use your photos for advertising, sell them, or share them with third parties.

You may delete your account or individual photos at any time. Deleting a photo removes the stored file and any generated frames associated with it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use FAT FIT to:

  • upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • attempt to access another user’s account or data;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service;
  • use the Service in any way that could harm minors.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

7. Data and privacy

We collect and process your data in line with applicable European data-protection law, including the GDPR. This includes your email, profile information, weigh-ins, uploaded photos, and weight or body-fat readings you choose to import from Google Health Connect. Health Connect access is read-only and may be revoked at any time. Disconnecting stops future imports; imported history remains until you explicitly delete it. We use this data only to run and improve FAT FIT. For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, email info@fatfit.app.

8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update FAT FIT or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echo Marketing B.V. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FAT FIT. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if you did not pay anything.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, except where mandatory local consumer-law rules require otherwise.
